The
Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center volunteers thousands of hours
each year by operating the gift shop, transporting patients, visiting
patients, running errands within the hospital, organizing blood drives
on the second Wednesday of each month or anything requested within
their capabilities. These men and women bring a warm atmosphere of
caring to their work throughout the facility. Proudly displayed in
the hospital lobby is The Giving Tree,
a hospital fund raiser, made possible through a generous donation
of the Auxiliary. Members also provide scholarships to nursing students,
donate furniture and medical equipment to the hospital and are responsible
for furnishing and maintaining the hospital chapel. These gracious
men and women give selflessly to the hospital and our community helping
those who can’t help themselves, listening when someone needs
a friendly face who cares and always being there to lend a willing
hand.
PURPOSE
- Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary is open to individuals who are
interested in community health. These very special individuals are
responsible for promoting and advancing the welfare of Memorial Medical
Center and its patients.
MMC
JUNIOR AUXILIARY - Offered as a special summer program
each year, the MMC Junior Auxiliary is an opportunity for our area
young people to give back to our community. This program is offered
to young men and women in 14-19 years old. For more information, please
