Medical Center’s Cardiology Department is another prime example
of our state-of-the-art technology. We provide a broad range of cardiopulmonary
services as ordered by your physician. Services include stress testing,
Holter monitoring and EKG’s (heart studies), full 21-channel
EEG’s (brain studies) and complete pulmonary function testing.
Memorial Medical Center also offers ECHO’s (studies of the heart).
The ultrasound monitor allows physicians to view a
color image of a patient’s heart from any angle, produce a video
and color print-out and communicate via video tape with physicians
at other locations and national medical centers. Our pulmonary function
equipment performs tests to determine total lung volume, flow volume
loops and single breath diffusion.
