Through its Respiratory Department, Memorial Medical Center offers comprehensive diagnostic services for the heart and lungs to all ages both inpatient and outpatient utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.

Services available include:


Pulmonary Function Test: A Pulmonary Function Test is a series of breathing tests to diagnose lung issues such as asthma or COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.)

Cardiac Stress Tests: Cardiac Stress Tests are used to identify and diagnose blockages in the heart vessels. Patients may be asked to walk on a treadmill while monitored or to have both a treadmill and nuclear medicine study.

Holter Monitors: Holter Monitors are devices worn anywhere from 24-168 hours. They are used to identify hearty rhythm issues.

Electrocardiogram (EKG): An EKG is a simple and noninvasive test that measures electrical activity of the heart muscle and helps diagnose heart abnormalities.
