NURSING SERVICES |
|
REGISTERED NURSE
– ALL UNITS
- (GRADE 14)
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited nursing
school and current Texas R. N. license. A
minimum of one year experience in acute care
preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for providing direct
patient care to patients in Med. Surg., ER, ICU,
OB, Nursery, OR and PACU setting. PRN position.
UNIT MANAGER-I.C.U.
– (GRADE 16)
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and
maintains a current licensure from the Texas
State Board of Nurse Examiners. Bachelors degree
(BSN) or in pursuit of BSN is preferred. Three
years of progressive critical care nursing
experience with evidence of leadership
capabilities.
JOB DUTIES: The ICU Manager is
responsible for coordinating clinical,
management and educational activities within the
unit that will facilitate quality patient care.
Maintains the delegated responsibility,
accountability and authority for the department
and functions within the legal, ethical and
hospital guidelines. Full-time position.
REGISTERED NURSE-
OB/LABOR/DELIVERY/POST
PARTUM/NURSERY–(GRADE
14)
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of accredited nursing school and
current Texas R.N. license. Experience in
Labor/Delivery & Post Partum preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for independently
providing direct patient care to patients in
labor, post-partum and nursery setting for their
comfort and well being. Full time night shift.
(RN: $2,500.00 Sign on Bonus

JOB DUTIES: The Nursing Adie is responsible
for assisting in the total patient care and
performing any other duties deemed necessary to
insure optimal patient care under the direction
and supervision of the Licensed Vocational Nurse
or the Registered Nurse. PRN days/nights.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

REQUIREMENTS: Registered MT or MLT with
ASCP, HEW, AMT or equivalent.
JOB DUTIES: Include general with good
phlebotomy skills. Able to work independently
and with a team. PRN weekends, evenings and
days.
LABORATORY ASSISTANT-
2 POSITIONS (GRADE 4)
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy
certification.
JOB DUTIES: Include blood drawing, ABGs,
Nursing Home draws, drug screen collections on
and off site. Computer entry, stocking and
unpacking supplies, cleaning. PRN positions.
LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE-DIALYSIS
–
(Grade 9)
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited
nursing school and current Texas LVN license.
One year experienced as LVN preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Under the supervision of the
Dialysis Center Director or her/his designee,
the LVN provides direct patient care to patients
undergoing dialysis therapy. Full-time position
includes weekends and holidays.

DIALYSIS |
|
TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR
–
(GRADE 11)
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Training or
experience in one of the following: completion
of college based technical dialysis program or
current certification in technical aspects of
dialysis by a nationally recognized testing
organization. Mechanically inclined with some
electrical and plumbing experience preferred.
Prefer one year experience in dialysis with the
last two years.
JOB DUTIES: Include repair and maintenance,
with support documentation of dialysis systems,
R.O. water systems and ancillary medical
equipment as recommended by the manufacturer
specifications. Maintain limited parts
inventory and assure inventory level of test
reagents. Perform ongoing training to dialysis
personnel on the entire water systems including
guidelines on emergency procedures for the water
system failure. Serve as a member of and attend
Quality Improvement Committee meetings and a
member of the Advisory and Safety Committee.
Make cost effective recommendations for
improvements. Monitor/control expenses for the
dialysis equipment. Provide 24 hour on call
coverage as assigned. Full-time day position
includes holidays/ weekends.
PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN
– (GRADE 8)
REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate. Experience in taking vital
signs.
JOB DUTIES: Under the supervision of the
Dialysis Charge Nurse, the PCT provides direct
patient care to patients undergoing dialysis.
Full-Time position includes Saturdays and
holidays.

PHYSICAL THERAPY |
|
P.T. TECHNICIAN
– (GRADE 4)
REQUIREMENTS: Currently enrolled in
College, working toward a degree in healthcare.
JOB DUTIES: Assist with department patient
care. Part-time position. |

BUSINESS OFFICE |
|
MEDICAID COORDINATOR
– (GRADE 5)
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent. One to two
years experience in a hospital or physician
office setting preferred. Knowledge of
Traditional Medicaid and Medicaid HMO
guidelines/requirements. Good people and public
relations skills with ability to work in fast
pace setting.
JOB DUTIES: Include filing Medicaid claims,
posting payments and appealing denials,
monitoring all accounts to a zero balance
status. Additional duties include cross
training in the Medicare area, learning billing
and posting procedures and patient
registration. Full-time M-F position. |

REVENUE MANAGEMENT |
|
CHARGE MASTER ANALYST/PRICER SPECIALIST
– (GRADE 10)
REQUIREMENTS:
Four year degree in Business/Finance or
Accounting is preferred. A degree or certificate
in nursing or in an ancillary therapeutic or
diagnostic patient care field may be
substituted. Experience with personal computers,
word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and
database software applications are desired.
Previous patient care experience preferred.
Proficient in payment review systems, hospital
information systems and coding methodologies.
Strong quantitative, analytical and
organizational skills. Ability to understand
medical records, hospital bills and the Charge
master. Ability to understand insurance terms
and payment methodologies. Ability to
communicate orally and in written form. Must be
team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
JOB DUTIES: Include monitoring and
maintaining the hospital departmental charge
master to ensure that the coding of new and
existing charge codes are within applicable
coding guidelines. Provide reimbursement
analysis, assist with bill problem resolutions
and provide coverage guidelines for billable
services to reduce or prevent future claim
denials. Ensure the appropriate bundling or
unbundling of charges so that all charges are
submitted result in maximum reimbursement while
following applicable billing, coding and
reimbursement regulations. Assist the billing
personnel in resolving third party payer billing
problems. Full-time position.
