NURSING SERVICES
REGISTERED NURSE – ALL UNITS - (GRADE 13)
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited nursing school and current Texas R. N. license. A minimum of one year experience in acute care preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for providing direct patient care to patients in Med/Surg, ER, ICU, OB, Nursery, OR and PACU setting. PRN position. PRN Positions.

CERTIFIED NURSE
AID
– MED/SURG –

7)
REQUIREMENTS: High
School diploma or equivalent. At least one year experience or graduate
of an accredited Nurse’s Aide training program or equivalent.
JOB DUTIES:The
Nursing Aide is responsible for assisting in the total patient care and
performing any other duties deemed necessary to insure optimal patient
care under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Vocational
Nurse or the Registered Nurse. 2 PRN Positions: Include
day/night 12-hour
shifts.
LABOR & DELIVERY/POST PARTUM/NURSERY-REGISTERED NURSE-(GR 14)
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited nursing school and current Texas RN license. Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred, but not required.
SPECIAL SIGN-ON BONUS: To be eligible for a $4,000.00 sign on bonus, must have a minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery experience, holding certification for NRP and Fetal Monitoring. All others (less than 2 years experience) eligible for a $2,500.00 Sign-On Bonus.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for independently providing direct patient care to patient in labor, post partum and nursery setting for their comfort and well being.
2-Full-Time Positions: 12 hour-night shift positions. Applicants flexible to float to areas taking on duties that nurse has been trained in during low department census
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
ER CLINICAL SUPERVISOR –(GRADE 15)
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current Texas RN license. B.S.N. degree or in pursuit of a B.S.N. degree preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for coordinating clinical, supervisory and educational activities within the unit. May have input in staffing decisions including hiring, firing and/or disciplinary actions. Maintains the delegated responsibility, accountability and authority for the department and functions with the legal, ethical and hospital guidelines. Prepare draft of budget for ER nursing for submission to Director OR/OP Clinic/ER. As Trauma Coordinator is responsible for 1) Coordinating, evaluating and implementing the care of patients in the emergency department to establish excellent customer service; 2) Delivering patient care in the emergency department under the direction of the emergency department physician; 3) Assisting and giving guidance to employees assigned under his/her supervision in the delivery of patient care for nursing service function. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – (Grade 12)
REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field with Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 4 years experience with supervisory experience preferred.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for directing and managing hospital wide information technology system and activities. Will utilize and operate computers, data entry and related electronic data processing equipment as well as knowledge of general principles of computer system operations. Full-Time Position
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
AIDE (Grade 1)
REQUIREMENTS:
High
School diploma or equivalent. Experience in cleaning preferred.
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for cleaning patient rooms, departments, nursing units and
offices.
PRN Position: includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
LABORATORY
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST OR MEDICAL LAB TECHNOLOGIST
– (GRADE 14/12)
REQUIREMENTS: Registered
MT or MLT with ASCP, HEW, AMT or equivalent. PRN weekends, PRN evenings
and PRN days.
JOB DUTIES:
Generalist
with good phlebotomy skills. Be able to work independently and with a
team.
MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
C.S. TECH
– (GRADE 3)
REQUIREMENTS:
High
School diploma or equivalent. One year warehouse experience. Able to
lift heavy supplies and
equipment.
JOB DUTIES: Receive and process incoming supplies and equipment.
Distribute supplies throughout the hospital. Restock department stock
