Emergency Room-Registration Clerk - Patient Financial Services
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. required. Strong computer and telephone skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking.

Job Description: Responsible for registering and admitting patients, ascertaining their needs and directing them accordingly. Responsible for the telephone switchboard when Patient Financial Services offices are closed, also responsible for all pages including codes, drills and activation alerts. Responsible for collection of co-pays and deductibles through the Emergency Room, Out-Patient Registration and In-Patient Admissions. Verify insurance coverage and refer private pay patients to various financial programs when necessary. Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.

12 hour shifts - will include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
