Memorial Medical

most advanced radiology equipment. We offer patients and physicians
our light and portable C-Arm which can show a fracture from any angle,
gamma camera and mammography equipment, two Fluoroscopic rooms, Color
Doppler Obstetric, Abdominal Ultrasound capabilities, Magnetic Resonance
Imaging (MRI) and an ultra modern Computerized Anatomic Tomography
(CAT) Scan, all located on-site in the MMC Radiology Department.
Continually
striving to add new equipment and training in the latest medical advances,
the Memorial Medical Center Radiology Department is proud to announce
the recent purchase of new radiographic and fluoroscopic system, offering
patients a high-resolution look inside the human body, delivering
a clearer, faster image for diagnosis and treatment and less exposure
to x-rays for patients.
Additionally,
the MMC Radiology Department offers patients nuclear medicine and
a bone densitometry system.
The bone densitometry measurement technology allows doctors to identify
patients who have suffered bone loss due to such diseases as osteoporosis
at much earlier stages than previously allowed by conventional x-ray
machines. Memorial Medical Center has the equipment needed to make
quick and precise diagnoses of a patient. Not only is our equipment
state-of-the-art, but our Radiology Department staff includes technicians
who are State certified and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) registered. This advanced training enhances our ability to
make accurate patient assessments.
At
Memorial Medical Center, we're committed to prevention as the most
effective medical treatment. We're proud to offer our patients state
of the art medical equipment designed to detect potential problems
while they are still curable. Men and women are encouraged to have
regular Bone Densomitry
tests as prescribed by their physician for the detection of oesteoporsis
and other bone diseases. Woman are encouraged to have regular Mammogram
for the early detection of breast cancer. For more information about
these services, please discuss it with your physician or call our
