TrusteeYvonne Felkins, a Port Lavaca native, is the Director of Nursing and part owner of Calhoun Home Health. With 33 years of nursing experience, she brings extensive clinical leadership and a deep understanding of community-based healthcare. Yvonne is committed to advancing Memorial Medical Center’s mission by supporting accessible, high quality, and patient centered care, strengthening healthcare services for local residents, and ensuring responsible, compassionate leadership within the community.
Ashley McGrew
TrusteeAshley McGrew has proudly called Calhoun County home for most of her life. She has spent the past 11 years at Dow’s Seadrift Operations as Management Systems Leader for maintenance and engineering. Beyond work, Ashley is passionate about giving back, volunteering through Dow’s community programs and supporting JR Elementary’s PTO. In 2025, she joined the Board of Managers, inspired by the realization that when something needs to be done, each of us has the power to step up.

Sara Rubio, APRN, CPNP-PC
TrusteeSara Rubio, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a licensed and board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care at Hometown Pediatric Care. She practiced nursing for the first 13 years of her career at Memorial Medical Center, primarily in the Emergency Room, during which she served as the GCRAC secretary. Sara joined the board in 2025 to enhance healthcare delivery in Calhoun County and ensure our hospital upholds the highest standards of quality, compassion, and accountability for the residents of Calhoun County. Sara is a lifelong resident of Port Lavaca, where she lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
