How To Help


Memorial Medical Center is operating a drop-off donation option to accept certain unopened (sealed) medical supplies. We are in awe by the outpouring of support from the people and businesses in our community. At MMC, our commitment to improving lives and providing hope is unwavering. Please know how thankful and proud we are to call this county home.

Rise to the Call to Help

In addition to following the recommendations put forward by public health centers, there are other ways you can help. MMC is in need of additional supplies and is also accepting monetary donations to fight COVID-19.

Needed Supplies

Many people have asked about providing much-needed supplies. We welcome donations of certain medical supplies.

Wipes -Must be EPA approved to combat COVID-19
Hand Sanitizer - Must be at least 60% alcohol
Liquid Hand Soap
Digital Thermometers
Isolation Masks
Surgical Masks
N95 Masks or KN95
- Impermeable to fluid/splashes
- If not impermeable can cover with isolation mask
Patient Masks
Face Shields
Safety Glasses with Detachable Side Shields
Isolation Gowns
Surgical Gowns
Sterile Compounding Gowns

The donation drop-off area is located at the Main Entrance of Memorial Medical Center.

Donation Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. M-F

Vendor Information

Memorial Medical Center is also seeking vendors who are able to supply large quantities of the above supplies. If you are a vendor willing to donate supplies, thank you. Please email your information here or call (361) 552-0258.

If you are a vendor with an inventory of the above items for sale, we are interested in talking with you if your company meets the following requirements:
Can provide a W-9
Is able to accept purchase orders
Is located in the United States

Mask Sewing Information

For those who sew, here’s a project with a purpose.
Given potential shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE), fabric masks may be option for some. Your time and talent is greatly appreciated in the community to help ensure safety. Fabric masks offer the benefit of being able to be washed and re-used.
