Infusion Services

We are proud to offer IV therapy and injection services to patients for the management of their illnesses. It is our goal to keep our patients closer to home and eliminate long, expensive trips to out of town infusion centers.

Our infusion therapy room provides a quiet, comfortable environment with private spaces and access to tablets/headphones for your entertainment. A Registered Nurse who is trained in infusion therapy will provide all of the care and comfort you need to manage your needs during your visit.

How to Request Infusion Services

1. Talk with your provider
Discuss infusion services (IV, IM, or injectable treatments) and let your provider know you wish to receive these services at Memorial Medical Center.

2. Obtain prior authorization
Outside facilities are responsible for completing the prior authorization process before sending any orders.

3. Fax required documentation to 361-552-4941, Attn: Infusion Services

Documentation must include:
Signed provider order
Patient demographics
Most recent office note
Recent labs

4. Benefit verification
Once all documents are received, Infusion Services will verify insurance benefits.

5. Scheduling
Infusion Services will contact the patient to schedule an appointment after verification is complete.
