JoAnne Sherman selected as Service Excellence Superstar of the Month - February 2022
JoAnne Sherman, one of Curry Health Network's financial counselors and a long-time employee, was selected as the February 2022 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month after being recognized by a coworker for going above and beyond to help a patient.

"CHN often experiences the same delays this patient had in connecting with this company, but Joanne worked her magic and was able to conference in both the company and the patient on the quickly arranged phone call, and the company agreed to pull the account back from collections. This was obviously important to the patient, and Joanne is compassionate and aware of the financial concerns of our patients - even when not related to services we provide, bill, or collect. Joanne always acknowledges any requests I have forwarded to her, reaches out to other department staff and companies as needed, and demonstrates excellence by closing the loop. I never have to worry after transferring an issue to Joanne that the concern won't be addressed. She reaches out to let me know the outcome, without fail.
