Paul Goodell, RN Recognized as CHN's September 2022 Service Excellence Superstar

Paul Goodell, RN was working in acute care when his great demonstration of excellence prompted an employee to nominate him for Service Excellence Superstar.

"Paul was concerned about a patient with a persistent, elevated heart rate and declining condition. He brought it to the attention of the MD at rounds, but the term 'artifact' kept getting thrown around. Paul printed strip after strip and continued to voice his concern. After multiple conversations with the MD and several medications, they were able to get the rate down to 90's. Paul followed his gut; he knew something was wrong and he was persistent until he received action."
