Lab Assistant PRN - Laboratory
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification. 1 year of phlebotomy experience drawing pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, ABG's. Moderate knowledge of medical terminology.

Brief Job Description: The Laboratory Assistant is under the supervision of the Pathologist, Director of the Laboratory, Medical Technologist, and Medical laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Assistant assures that care is delivered to all patients within legal, ethical, laboratory and hospital guidelines. The Laboratory Assistant performs laboratory procedures in phlebotomy and urinalysis according to government accrediting regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is expected to exemplify Memorial Medical Center’s mission, vision, and values, and adhere to MMC’s customer service standards in every interaction with every individual he/she encounters. The goal is to consistently exceed expectations.

PRN Position: 8 hour shift. Includes day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
