Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time
Job Overview:

Memorial Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at our small, rural hospital in Port Lavaca, Texas. This position offers a strong outpatient focus with a well-rounded clinical experience in a supportive hospital setting.

The caseload is approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient, providing the opportunity to maintain both orthopedic and acute care skill sets. We prioritize quality of care, allowing therapists to build meaningful patient relationships while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements: Physical Therapist Assistant Associates Degree from an accredited school. Current licensure in the state of Texas.

Brief Job Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant functions under the supervision of the physical therapist to provide safe and effective patient treatments, follows the plan of care set by the physical therapist, documents treatments and progress of the patient toward set goals and maintains communication with the physical therapist regarding patients.
