Accountant

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required. 3+ years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of general ledger management, month-end close, and bank reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel.

Brief Job Description:
Responsible for daily and monthly accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR support, and assisting with month-end close. Ensures accurate financial records and compliance with hospital regulations. Works with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer to resolve issues and support audits, surveys, and internal projects.

This position is expected to exemplify Memorial Medical Center's mission, vision, and values, and adhere to MMC's customer service standards in every interaction with every individual he/she encounters.
