Coding Specialist
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Accredited Records Technician or Certified Coding Specialist. 1-2 years coding experience with previous experience in a Health Information department. Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience with coding software preferred.
Job Description:
Responsible for coding outpatient records on a daily basis. Identifies the primary and principal diagnosis correctly with the appropriate ICD-10CM and/or CPT-4. Accurately codes and finalizes all outpatient accounts to ensure prompt billing. Answers incoming department telephone calls. Assists in other duties within the department as needed.

Shifts:
Looking for Monday-Friday 8 hour shift.
