Emergency Room - Registration Clerk - PRN - Patient Financial Services
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent.

Job Description: Responsible for registering and admitting patients, ascertaining their needs and directing them accordingly. Responsible for the telephone switchboard when Patient Financial Services offices are closed. Responsible for all pages including codes, drills and activation alerts. Responsible for collection of co-pays and deductibles through the Emergency Room, Out-Patient Registration and In-Patient Admissions. Verifies insurance coverage and refers private pay patients to various programs for financial assistance when necessary.

12 hour shifts - including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
